As part of its efforts to stimulate the SME sector and emerging businesses, the SME program has renewed its cooperation agreement with Emirates NBD at the headquarters of the Bank’s Head Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The new agreement will add a new track of cooperation and partnership between the two sides to accelerate and facilitate the issuance of guarantees for small and medium-sized enterprises benefiting from the program and to expand the financing solutions offered to their owners. The signing of the agreement was signed by the Director General of the SME Financing Program Hamam Hashim and the CEO of Emirates NBD – Saudi Arabia, Engineer Louay Hassan Abdul Jawad, in the presence of senior executives from both sides. Hashem highlighted the importance of the role of banks in stimulating the small and medium enterprises sector, which in turn improves the economic situation in the Kingdom, explaining the vision of the program in activating cooperation with commercial banks and small and medium enterprises sector in order to support and strengthen the stability of this sector through achieving high rates of financing, The agreement includes many incentives that contribute to the realization of the vision of the Kingdom 2030. For his part, Eng. Loay Abdul Jawad emphasized the firm commitment of the Bank to the “Sponsorship Program” as a key platform for empowering small and medium enterprises, which in turn contribute to a pivotal role in supporting the economy.
