The first official commercial flights of Al-Haramain Expressway, from Madinah to Makkah, through King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh and Jeddah Province, were launched today. Engineer Saad Al-Shehri, Project Manager in Madinah, said that the day and evening seats for both hospitality and business were booked in full while the flight coincided with another similar launch to the train in the opposite direction from Mecca to Medina through the Jeddah train stations and King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh and the same number Of passengers. He pointed out that the journey time will gradually decrease to two hours between Mecca and Medina for direct flights and two and 20 minutes between Mecca and Medina on trips interrupted by a stop at Jeddah station and King Abdullah Economic City.
