Coordination Meeting of the GCC-Azerbaijan Business Forum

The Union of GCC Chambers met with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to coordinate the second Azerbaijan-Gulf Business Forum and Exhibition at the headquarters of the Federation of Chambers in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Abdul Rahim Naqi, Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers, pointed out the importance of discussing ways of cooperation of the Federation’s activities with sister countries, especially the second Azerbaijan-Azerbaijan Business Forum and Exhibition to be held in the Azerbaijani capital in the second quarter of this year.

Reihan Mubarak Fayez, head of economic affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC, stressed the importance of the role of the private sector in seeking to deepen and enhance the GCC integration in the field of joint action and achieving Gulf citizenship and its positive momentum towards the comprehensive development that the GCC countries seek to achieve in various fields and at all levels. He pointed out the readiness of the Secretariat to support the activities of the Union, including the forum and exhibition of the Gulf of Azerbaijan II.

The participants in the meeting agreed to organize a workshop on the Gulf Consultancy Offices and how to activate their role of all kinds to get the largest percentage of the work to be held in Riyadh this year.
