The Suez Canal witnessed on Tuesday the crossing of 60 ships, with a cargo of 3.4 million tons of container ships from both directions, announced the head of the Suez Canal Authority and head of the Suez Canal Authority General Authority. An official report by the Suez Canal Authority revealed that the northern convoy had seen the transit of 37 vessels with a cargo capacity of 2.2 million tons. The biggest cargo was the Danish flag carrier “narin marsk” carrying a cargo of 200,000 tons coming from Morocco to Amman. Twenty-three ships from the south crossed the new canal, with a cargo capacity of 1.2 million tons, and the largest cargo of the “aystrlis” flying Greek flag with a load of 160 thousand tons.
