Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques quickly direct the payment of dues to suppliers and contractors

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has ordered all suppliers, contractors and contractors’ receivables to be promptly collected and paid by government agencies.
And issued an order to form a committee of several governmental bodies headed by the Minister of Trade and Investment to inventory all the arrears in arrears and classify them so as to know the reasons for the delay in disbursement and the Commission to develop appropriate solutions to them and to verify practices that do not comply with the rules governing disbursement, To the Ministry of Finance and coordination in this regard with the President of the Council of Saudi Chambers.
The Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid Al-Qassabi, said that the Royal Decree was based on the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council for Economic Affairs and Development, confirming his vision of the importance of the role of the private sector as a key partner. To achieve the economic development witnessed by the Kingdom, stressing the need to find effective mechanisms to ensure that the payment of contractors’ entitlements is not delayed with government agencies.
