The dirham is up 1.2% to 4.2% against the top four currencies in a month

The value of the dirham against the most important four global currencies rose by 1.2% to 4.2% in one month, according to the analysis of the exchange rate of the local currency against international currencies based on the list of exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
The rise in the value of the dirham against the world currencies, which included the euro and the yen and the pound sterling in addition to the Swiss franc in the last four weeks following the large rise recorded by the dollar against a basket of currencies, the highest in about a year.
The exchange rate of the dirham is moving in line with the US dollar as the local currency has been linked to the green card for more than four decades.
