Dubai Customs has continued its efforts to develop cooperation with the Trademark Owners’ Council to protect intellectual property rights while preserving the environment in support of the Emirates Green Development Strategy initiative through the implementation of the new procedures adopted by the Department for the recycling of counterfeit goods that are seized at customs centers in Dubai instead of Damaged by traditional methods that cause pollution of the environment.
This came in line with the agreements between Dubai Customs and its partners from the Board of Trademark Owners, where the famous trademark companies under the umbrella of the Council have initiated the recycling of infringing goods in accordance with the new procedures.
