The total number of new licenses issued during the month of March 2019 reached 2459 licenses, an increase of 35.4 percent over the same period last year. The total number of commercial permits was 3651, an increase of 11.4 percent compared to March 2008, while the number of approvals reached 2921. The number of commercial permits reached 1677, whether for promotions, discounts or exhibitions. The number of instant licenses issued in one step without a location for the first year and an exemption from the establishment contract for the same period / 190 / license, and the license of the merchant from 179 / license in March 2018 to 226 / license in March 2019 by 26.3%.
The outsourcing centers in different regions in Dubai (17770) handled 64.5 percent of the total transactions of 27531 in March 2019. This shows the vital role of outsourcing centers in providing value added services to the public from Dubai’s economic customers.
For the distribution of new licenses according to nationalities, India ranked first, followed by Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, China, Jordan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Canada and France.
