Dubai Economy: Workshops and Field Visits to follow up the implementation of the new standards for grocery stores

MediaIn – Dubai

Dubai Economy is implementing the new standards for the licensing of grocers operating in the Emirate of Dubai in accordance with international standards. This will enable the unified commercial identity in all grocers to have a consistent appearance from inside and outside through organizing a series of workshops and official visits to check the compliance with new requirements.

Through this move, Dubai’s Economy seeks to raise the level of competitiveness of the various business communities so that new grocery stores will be upgraded with service and retail facilities in the Emirate of Dubai.

“The implementation of these standards will contribute to the provision of high quality social service to consumers of the community and to the positive reputation of Dubai,” said Omar Al Muhairi, Director of Development and Follow-up in the Commercial Registration and Licensing Sector.

Owners of grocery stores can start their development operations from today until two years from now.
