Dubai Financial Market index rose by 1.7% on Thursday

The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 46.89 points, or 1.73%, to 2,762.98 points on Thursday.

Market capitalisation rose to AED 361.57 billion on Thursday, compared to AED 356.3 billion yesterday.

Trading volume reached 185.78 million shares, while liquidity hit AED 351.7 million.

A group of 29 stocks rose, including DFM company, Emirates NBD, and Arabtec Holdings, which grew 5.26%, 2.65%, and 2.33%, respectively.

The investment sector gained 2.62%, while the banking, real estate, and services sectors added 1.61%, 1.21%, and 0.15%, respectively.
