Dubai Land Organizes First Arab Conference on Land and Real Estate Management

The first session of the First Arab Land and Land Management Conference, organized by the Department of Land and Property, was held in Dubai from 26 to 28 February.
The conference will be organized under the theme “Towards sustainable urban development” and will be held in conjunction with the UAE Innovation Month 2018 in partnership with the World Bank, the World Land Tool Network, UN-HABITAT, the League of Arab States and the Arab Surveying Union.
“The UAE has witnessed similar changes in the past four decades,” said Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zaidi, Minister of Climate Change and the Environment, at the opening of the conference. “The number of people, cities and urban areas has multiplied several times. However, due to the wise policy pursued by our wise leadership, the UAE was able to control these factors and mitigate their social, economic and environmental impact. .
Sultan Butti Bin Mujrin, Director General of the Dubai Land Department, praised the many developments that have been achieved in the land of Dubai, praising the unprecedented achievements that have been achieved regionally and internationally since its inception in 1960.
“We are very proud of the important role played by the department in protecting the rights of all investors, including women, who now own about 30% of Dubai properties. “He said.
He pointed out that 16 laws have been issued regarding real estate development in order to provide the best services in real estate development, stressing that Dubai follows regulations that allow it to register real estate within 30 minutes, especially since all real estate data registered in the land registry in the database of Dubai land
