The Dubai e-commerce exhibition, which is currently being launched in Dubai, has launched the Dubai Store, the first online marketplace to focus on small and medium enterprises and home businesses, e-merchants.
The Dubai e-shop, launched today by Digital Economic Solutions, a joint venture between Emirates and Dubai’s Department of Economic Development, has a unique concept and design that focuses mainly on enhancing business by providing an e-commerce platform to sell its products with no competition between them. The Dubai Store will house licensed e-commerce projects and serve as a reference platform through which customers can access a range of products, many of which are not easily available on the market. Abdulla Hassan, CEO of Digital Economics Solutions, said: “The launch of this online market is planned for the third quarter of this year. The Dubai Store aims to support Dubai’s economic growth by promoting e-commerce as an effective trading channel governed by Dubai laws and regulations.
