The Ease of Doing Business Report presents the UAE’s competitive model in Washington

The executive panel of the Ease of Doing Business Index in the country discussed with a team of World Bank experts key files such as the Human Capital Index, Women’s Participation, Business and Law, the Rule of Law Index, Doing Business at the Local Level, and the National Income Distribution Equity Index.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the World Bank Group in Washington DC.
The UAE delegation, led by the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics, has 21 officials representing nine federal and local government bodies: the Ministry of Finance, the Securities and Commodities Authority, Dubai Competitiveness Office, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Courts, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Land Department.
Hanan Ahli, Executive Director of the Competitiveness Sector at the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, and the Chairman of the executive team of the Ease of Doing Business Index stressed the importance of these meetings which enable the executive team to publish and export the UAE model in improving and developing legislation, laws and procedures related to the business activities of the international community in general and the network Countries covered by the Doing Business report in particular.
She pointed out that periodic meetings with the World Bank team support the efforts of the executive team and enhance the process of understanding and understanding any changes or changes in the methodology of determining the ease of doing business and working with them from government and private partners to maintain the leadership of the country ranking in this indicator.
