“Economy” is considering strengthening trade and investment cooperation with Angola

 Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri said that the UAE enjoys good trade relations with the Republic of Angola and that the UAE is keen to expand the framework of economic, trade and investment cooperation with the Angolan side in various sectors of common interest. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the opportunities and possibilities of cooperation and exchange of experiences in a wide range of sectors that are a priority on the economic agenda of the two countries, notably energy, renewable energy, air transport and logistics including the development and operation of ports and airports. He also highlighted the importance of cooperation in the tourism sector, including tourism investment and the establishment of projects that serve the tourism infrastructure in Angola, as well as exploring ways of exchanging tourism, taking advantage of the UAE’s position as a vital air transport center. It received more than 123 million passengers through its airports in 2017. Which enhances the prospects for partnership and connectivity with the global tourism and travel markets.
