Egypt expects a strategic framework for partnership with the United Nations until 2022 worth 1.2 billion dollars

Egypt and the United Nations today signed the Strategic Framework Agreement for the Partnership with the United Nations 2018-2022, which is based on comprehensive economic development and sustainable management of natural resources with a total value of $ 1.2 billion.
Dr. Sahar Nasr, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, and Richard Dictis, UN Resident Coordinator in Egypt, signed an agreement aimed at supporting the Egyptian government in its quest for national development plans in Egypt. The strategic framework for partnership with the United Nations 2018-2022 During the outcomes of the national consultations, in the presence of representatives of a number of ministries and Egyptian authorities, a number of development partners and United Nations organizations.
According to the minister, the overall economic development of the agreement will be based on achieving the agreed goals of comprehensive and sustainable economic development and job creation, capacity building and training. This will be achieved through more efficient use of public resources, incentives and entrepreneurship.
