Egypt receives the fourth tranche of the IMF

Egypt received the fourth tranche of the IMF loan of $ 2 billion of the total loan of $ 12 billion. Egyptian Finance Minister Mohamed Mait said that the mission of IMF experts will visit Egypt next November for the fourth review of the economic reform program in preparation for receiving the fifth tranche of the loan at the end of this year. The minister said yesterday that the financial performance improved as preliminary indicators indicate a surplus in the budget for the first time in 15 years, as well as reducing the rates of total deficit of domestic output with higher revenues in excess of the annual expenditure volume.
