Emirates Air Cargo, the cargo arm of Emirates Airline, last year succeeded in moving around 400,000 tons of fast-breaking products using Sky Fresh products with its three categories to transport various types of sensitive air cargo through its wide network of over 155 stations worldwide. .
The Emirates Sky Fresh products combine Emirates Airline’s advanced infrastructure with its Dubai hub, a modern fleet of wide body aircraft with cargo aircraft and a range of innovative cooling chain solutions including new ventilated cooled platforms and experienced staff to ensure freshness Fast-break items such as fruits, vegetables, fresh fish, seafood, meat and flowers during the entire air transport process.
Nabil Sultan, Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Cargo, said that Emirates Fresh products since its launch last year have been welcomed and received positive feedback from customers. The three categories allow us to meet the various requirements of fast-paced product exporters.
Sultan added that fresh fruits and vegetables constitute the largest category of UAE’s fast-moving products for air cargo. The volume of these products, which the UAE has transported over the world over the past year, has increased to 150,000 tons, nearly five of them exported from India
