The Establishment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center through a cooperation between Davos and the UAE

Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet and Future Affairs and Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and president of the World Economic Forum Davos, concluded a cooperation agreement to establish the 4th Industrial Revolution Center in the UAE.

The two sides also signed a memorandum of cooperation on the activation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Protocol, which was developed by the UAE government to intensify the joint efforts and develop the regulatory frameworks that enhance the application of the protocol and its axes.

Al-Gergawi said that the establishment of a center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution strengthens the leadership of the UAE and its priority in looking ahead to the future and the development of tools and solutions to its challenges and supports the government’s direction to prepare a generation of specialists and experts in the fields of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its quest to mainstream and global knowledge of its advanced tools and technologies, unprecedented and widespread in the world.

The Fourth Industrial Governance Convention (IVR) aims to co-operate with the Fourth Industrial Revolution Protocol to establish regulatory and legal frameworks for the governance of data on various sectors of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to develop mechanisms for adopting its tools and techniques.

Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Director of Business Development, said in a press release that “MediaN” obtained a copy of it that the most licenses issued by the Department include food activities. Faisal Al Shehhi, Director of the Department of Business Support and Development, explained that during the year 2017, the Department organized many activities and programs in support and motivation. The department carried out a number of training workshops with 57 participants. During the course, participants were introduced to a number of new applications for marketing their products such as “application” closer, “e-marketing for cottage projects” and “Entrepreneurship”.

These training workshops aimed at rehabilitating entrepreneurs in various marketing fields.
