Etisalat today announced another doubling of domestic internet speeds through eLife packages, offering its customers the chance to enjoy one of the fastest fixed broadband services in the region, enhancing the subscriber experience of using multiple smartphones simultaneously.
Etisalat has doubled the speed of the Internet so that the basic package is 12 times faster than last year, and the speeds of eLife Home Entertainment packages have been doubled permanently, automatically and at no extra charge.
This high-speed upgrade is in line with Etisalat’s long-term strategy to “drive the digital future to empower communities” by continuing to invest in innovation, especially in next-generation technology and services, to enhance Etisalat’s network capabilities, Which resulted in the UAE being ranked first in the world in the scope of access to FTTH network connected to homes “FTTH” for the third time in a row.
“We at Etisalat are pleased to be able to offer this unique eLife Unlimited customer package and eLife Value Pack packages by providing an automatic and permanent update to double Internet speeds,” said Khaled Al Khooli, Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat. It started from 20 megabytes last year through the “Family” package, until today it has become a speed of 250 Mbps through the “Starter” package.
The new speeds of eLife Unlimited will start at 250 Mbps through the Starter Pack, while the Unlimited Sports package and Entertainment 500 will be available in 1 second, Second, in addition to doubling the speeds of the subscribers “I am UAE” in the package “eLife Unlimited” free of charge up to 500 Mbps.
Home Internet speeds will also be doubled for first-generation eLife customers, including the Family, Sports, Combo and Premium packages.
The speeds are automatically updated to all subscribers who will be included in the service, without the need to make any request, without additional charges, and only enjoy the new speeds.
