European fees on American products

The European Commission (EC) announced in Brussels on Thursday that the EU will begin imposing a 25 percent import duty on a range of US products starting Friday.
The move comes after the United States imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum from the European Union in early June.
The Commission has formally adopted a law providing for a fee of 2.8 billion euros, equivalent to 3.2 billion dollars of various US goods.
