The Human Resources Development Committee announces the “points system” in bank settlement

MEDIA IN, Dubai, July 11, 2018 (WAM)

The Human Resources Development Committee (HRC) announced that the banking system will be divided into three categories: senior positions through 5 points, intermediate posts, 3 points and executive posts, 1 point.
This came during the organization of the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, the leading regional institution in the field of banking and financial education and training, a workshop to explain the latest developments in the system of points in bank settlement.
The Committee pointed out that the start of the signing of fines from the end of the current year 2018 for banks that did not meet the achievement of the points required by the amount of 20 thousand dirhams on each point is missing from the final product of the total target points of the bank.
Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, said that the banking and insurance sectors are important strategic sectors that have the ability to provide suitable jobs for citizens, increase their competitiveness and thus participate actively in the efforts to achieve Emiratisation targets in the UAE National Vision 2021.
He stressed the readiness of the Ministry to provide support to the institutions and companies operating in the two sectors in order to achieve the required Emiratisation rates according to the points system, in light of its keenness to develop its partnerships with various economic sectors in the country and to promote the principle of integration of roles and joint responsibility for Emiratisation.
He pointed out that the points system came to support banks and insurance companies in order to meet the challenges of Emiratisation and enhance their participation and effectiveness in achieving the Emiratisation strategy and objectives. The system aims to increase Emiratisation rates in the banking and insurance sectors and promote greater citizen participation and rehabilitation and career development for citizens working in these sectors.
