  Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council) announced the results of the third quarter of the verification and inspection of controlled products, legal measuring instruments and prepackaged packages in the markets of Abu Dhabi from January 1 until the end of September 2018. During the third quarter of 2018, the Board carried out inspections of 47471 commodities from various controlled and traded products, ranging from toys, household appliances, vehicle tires, cigarettes, tobacco and household detergents. A total of 166 samples were selected and sent to internationally accredited laboratories for examination and to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The results showed that 56% of the samples conformed to their quality and safety requirements and 44% of the samples did not conform to their quality and safety requirements.
