Jordan: 10.2% The trade balance deficit declined in the first quarter of this year

Jordan’s statistics department confirmed that the trade balance deficit in the first quarter of this year fell by 10.2 percent compared to the same period in 2018, driven by a decrease in the value of imports by 2.3 percent over the same period last year.
According to the figures issued by the Department, the value of imports in the first quarter amounted to 3 billion and 200 million dinars, while national exports rose by 8.5 percent to record one billion and one hundred million dinars.
