Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), in collaboration with India’s Madhiamam newspaper, is organizing the second edition of the annual Indian cultural and trade exhibition, Kerala, which was held from February 14 to 16 at Sharjah Expo Center under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qassimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
This came during a joint press conference held today at the Chamber’s headquarters in Sharjah in the presence of Jamal Buzangal, Director of Media Department at Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sultan Al Bahr, representative of Expo Center Sharjah and Hamza Abbas, Editor-in-Chief of Madihamam.
“The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s sponsorship of the exhibition is part of the Chamber’s efforts to strengthen and develop economic relations between the Emirate of Sharjah and the Indian state of Kerala. Between the two friendly countries.
He pointed out that the strategic partnership of the Chamber in organizing the exhibition stems from the keenness to continue its work in expanding its partnerships and relations with various economic entities in Sharjah with its counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries, especially that India is the second trading partner of the UAE.
The business meeting to be held as part of the festival will provide opportunities for business owners, financial experts and diplomats who will present their ideas, experiences and guidance to startups, students and all stakeholders.
On the sidelines of “Discover Kerala”, the “Films Forum” will be honored by the singer QS Chitra, as well as various events and awards for outstanding businesswomen from India, the UAE and the Indian Food Festival.
It is noteworthy that the first edition of the exhibition last year recorded a record number of visitors, amounting to about 160 thousand visitors.
