Kuwait Stock Exchange ends its trading session and its general index at 51.6 points

KUWAIT: The Kuwait Stock Exchange closed the day at a low of 51.6 points to reach 5748.8 points, a decrease of 0.89%.
The total volume of transactions was 193.9 million shares through 6875 transactions worth KD 34.7 million (about US $ 114.5 million).
The main index rose 6.7 points to 4943 points, or 0.14%, through a total of 135.6 million shares exchanged through 3,880 transactions worth 7.6 million dinars (about 25.7 million dollars).
The first market index fell 79.8 points to reach 6169 points, a decrease of 1.2% through the amount of shares amounted to 58.6 million shares were through 2995 transactions worth 26.7 million dinars (about 88.4 million dollars).
