Launch of the unified payment window system in Saudi ports

The General Authority for Saudi Ports (Ports) today launched the first pilot phase of the unified payment window system at Jeddah Islamic Port as a first stage in cooperation with the General Authority of Customs, the Saudi Exchange and the Saudi British Bank SABB. The service aims to unify fees and wages automatically, facilitate financial transactions and reduce the time and effort on customs agents, freight forwarders and port operators, in addition to traders, through the cancellation of monetary transactions in Saudi ports and work around the clock. The unified payment window enables the participants in the national system to import and export a “clearing platform” from the start of billing to receive invoices and system requirements and payment through a unified electronic point. This service enables all users to feed their assets through multiple payment methods (bank deposit, ) Through the direct e-merger between the SABB platform and the SABB banking system, as well as the possibility of transferring the balance from the client’s default account to its bank account in accordance with the cash transaction protection procedures. In its first stage, the service provides many electronic services, namely registration services, service orders, invoices, payments, bank account management, reports, automatic invoices, refunds, bank reconciliation, complaints and suggestions.
