Lower construction costs in Abu Dhabi during the last quarter of 2018

Construction costs during the fourth quarter of 2018 in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi decreased by 2% compared to their prices during the third quarter of the same year, with the index reaching 97.9% while 92% during the comparison period.
The figures for the Abu Dhabi Statistics Center (ADBS) showed that the most important groups that contributed to the decrease in construction cost prices during the fourth quarter of last year included the “workforce” group which contributed 297.6% of the total decrease during the comparison period, The prices of this group are 2.2% and their weight is 29.5%.
The “Services” group contributed to the easing of the lower rate of construction costs during the fourth quarter of last year, with prices rising by 10.4% and weighing 4.5%.
