Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has started manufacturing the world’s largest wind turbines with a capacity of 10,000 kW and is expected to be installed in early 2020 to provide better cost efficiency.
The Japanese company said it plans to sell the turbine to energy companies in Europe, taking advantage of a global trend to move away from power plants from fossil fuels and lower electricity prices from offshore wind stations.
