Oil prices rise by about 1%

Oil prices rose about 1% on Friday amid uncertainty over whether the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will be able to agree to increase production at a meeting in Vienna.
Brent crude futures rose 73 cents, or 1 percent, in futures to $ 73.78 a barrel by 0502 GMT.
WTI rose 72 cents, or 1.1 percent, in futures to $ 66.26 a barrel.
OPEC will meet with independent producers including Russia at the organization’s headquarters in the Austrian capital to discuss production policy.
