Pakistan shares closed down 1.35%

The index of Karachi Stock Exchange, Pakistan’s largest stock market, closed today down 1.35%, or 497 points, and closed at 36404 points.
A total of 95416280 shares were traded in 317 transactions, while the market capitalization of 65 companies rose. Shares of 232 companies declined and 20 companies settled.
Shares of cement, chemicals and commercial banks dominated the positive trading on the stock exchange.
