MediaIn – Abu Dhabi January 25, 2018

The Abu Dhabi Farmers’ Service Center (FSC) has provided movable points to market “Harvesting our farms” products in front of mosques after Friday prayers every week in Abu Dhabi through refrigerated cars loaded with various types of fresh local vegetables. This comes in the context of promoting the local product and enhancing its competitiveness in the market.

“Harvesting our farms” is available in 10 mosques in the Bani Yas, Mussafah, Shamkha, Al Falah and Shawamakh areas of Abu Dhabi as a first step to expand to other areas in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Dhafra.

Mobile cars are one of the new points of sale offered by the Farmers’ Service Center to market our farm harvest products and facilitate the access of fresh local products to consumers. It is one of several ways to market our farm harvest products, including temporary markets during the winter season and permanent markets as permanent outlets in different parts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. .

Zafer Al Qassimi, Director of Operations and Trade at the Center, said that mobile cars are one of the best ways to sell directly to the public. The center chose mosques for the high concentration of consumers, especially on Friday, where they can purchase their needs of fresh agricultural products from the harvest of our farms.
