The Employment Opportunities Committee, established by the Executive Committee of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (ADEC), has announced its goal of providing 3,000 jobs by 110% to employ 3285 UAE nationals and jobseekers within four months from 5 June 2018 until the end of the year. The committee succeeded in providing job opportunities to 2155 citizens and 1130 citizens by 1,977 jobs in the semi-governmental sector, 42 percent, 1273 in the federal government sector, 39 percent, 543 in the local government sector, 17 percent, and 72 percent in the private sector.
The level of education for researchers and job seekers ranged between high school 37% and secondary by 59% and secondary secondary by 2%.
The three most important job seekers were the General Command of the Armed Forces with 1,046 positions, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Mubadala Investment Company, each providing approximately 500 jobs.
Amer Al Hammadi, Director General of the Human Resources Authority, said that providing employment opportunities for citizens and citizens is a national responsibility that falls on everyone and requires the integration and integration of the efforts of all parties, including governmental, semi-governmental and private, to achieve the aspirations of citizens and provide decent living.
