RAK Customs launches 14 new electronic services

 RAK Customs has launched 14 new e-services related to customs exemptions, trademark restriction and cancellation service and commercial agency service in cooperation with the eGovernment Authority, as part of the Customs Department’s efforts to automate its services and turn them into electronic and intelligent services. Eng. Ahmed Saeed Al Sayah, Director General of eGovernment Authority, stressed the importance of electronic transformation in enhancing the competitiveness of the country and the support provided by this transformation to the economic, social, educational and health sectors and facilitating investors and contributing to distinguished services for individuals and companies. Deputy Director General of the Customs Department, Aisha Al Shehhi, explained that these services are in line with the vision and vision of the Government of the Emirate in pursuing the electronic and intelligent transformation project in all operations and services provided to government clients. She pointed out that this phase of electronic services includes all the exemptions needed by the investor to enter the country such as the request for industrial, military and diplomatic exemption and the requirements of charities and re-imported goods in addition to exempting the requirements of people with special needs and exemption of personal effects and household appliances used and personal effects and gifts received with passengers.
