RAK Economic has continued its initiative for the second year in a row, launched by the Department of Control and Trade Protection at the beginning of last year. The initiative brings together the management, consumers and investors by receiving their comments and complaints. The number of participants reached 18 consumers and investors during the first quarter. The feedback received from the initiative requested a speedy completion of the complaints resolution.
Faisal Alayoun, Director of Commercial Control, said that the Department is keen to diversify the means of communication with consumers and investors. The launch of this initiative is the development of a new means of direct communication between the official and the other party.
Fatima Al Suwaidi, Director of Commercial Protection, said: “The continuation of this initiative for the current year is a result of the increase in the number of participants in the initiative, which reached 84 individuals throughout the year. We look forward to strengthening and consolidating lasting trust between the Department and consumers.
