Saudi Arabia: The General Establishment for Cereals issues a tender for the importation of 1.5 million tons of barley barley

The General Organization for Saudi Cereals announced its fourth tender for the year 2018 for the importation of 1,500,000 tons of barley for supply during the period July – August 2018 distributed to 25 ships with 19 vessels for the Kingdom’s ports on the Red Sea in the amount of 1,140,000 tons and 6 vessels for the Kingdom’s ports on the Arabian Gulf In the amount of 360,000 tons.
The Governor of the General Establishment for Grain Eng. Ahmed bin Abdul Aziz Al-Faris said that this tender is the fourth of this year and is an extension of the Kingdom’s plan to cover the local demand of barley and preserve the strategic stock.
The Foundation has completed the award of three batches of imported barley since the beginning of this year with a total quantity estimated at 3 million tons.
