The index of major Saudi stocks closed today, up 182.74 points to close at 8699.22 points, and trades worth more than 2.4 billion riyals.
More than 90 million shares were traded, with more than 80,000 shares changing hands, with 171 companies posting gains, while 12 stocks ended lower.
Shares of Al-Ghammiyat, Allianz SF, Musk, Sadaq, and Cable were among the top gainers, while Saco, Gas, Maaden, Lazurde and Eastern Cement were the most heavily traded, with gains and losses ranging between 10% and 1.44%.
Al-Rajahi, Saudi Kayan, Al Jazeera and Dar Al Arkan were the most active. Al Rajhi, Sabic, Al-Enma, Al Jazeera, and Sipchem were the most active in value.
Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index closed 21.89 points to close at 3452.80 points, and traded more than 1.7 million riyals. The number of shares traded was more than 60,000 shares, which were divided by 115 transactions.
