Stimulate business in Abu Dhabi with two new resolutions

, The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADCED) issued two resolutions aimed at facilitating business practices in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as part of the initiatives and incentives offered to private sector companies operating in the Emirate. In its first decision, the department adopted a change in the mechanism of calculating the fee of the advertising board to a fixed fee of 200 dirhams per year when issuing and renewing all types of economic licenses in order to eliminate the large discrepancy in the fee imposed, which was determined against the size of the advertising board. In its second decision, the Chamber also exempted new licenses of all types of commercial, industrial, professional, craft and other fees from the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center and obtained the No Objection Certificate for the first year. Khalifa Bin Salem Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Department, said in a press release that “DED has implemented a number of initiatives aimed at continuously developing the business registration system in Abu Dhabi by reducing the procedures, time and cost of doing business in the emirate and attracting investments To provide an ideal business environment that achieves the highest competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. He added that the Department is keen to provide more incentives and initiatives to empower the private sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and attract investments through facilitating the procedures and requirements of issuing economic license and providing an appropriate business environment for investors and businessmen in the context of its efforts to support the economic package launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
