The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi and its counterpart in Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed the intensification of trade exchange between the two countries’ business communities.
This came during a meeting between Ibrahim Al Mahmood, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting was attended by HE Sharif Moika Novic, Ambassador of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the UAE, and HE Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber.
The meeting discussed ways of enhancing and strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the UAE in general and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular with the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where the appropriate ways to open the business horizons and open trade channels were discussed in the context of the UAE’s free economy policy, openness to foreign investments and directing the private sector to expand And to diversify investment.
He stressed that the Abu Dhabi Chamber, as the representative body of the private sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, is working hard to strengthen the relations of businessmen and investors from its members and affiliates with their counterparts in different countries of the world and encourage them to establish Joint ventures with value added and distinct among them.
He expressed the readiness of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to support companies and investors from Bosnia and Herzegovina who wish to establish their investment projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi through coordination for the exchange of trade delegations and hosting joint business events and provide all that would strengthen economic relations and increase investments and cooperation between companies and institutions in the two friendly countries. The importance of benefiting from the advantages and climate of investment available from modern infrastructure and vital economic facilities as well as the Emirate of Abu Dhabi one of the most important business environments that are easy to exercise and reduce the cost And the flexibility of its legislation, which made it attractive environment for different investments.
For his part, Ahmed Agerlich, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressed his pleasure to know about the services provided by the Abu Dhabi Chamber, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation and benefiting from the various investment opportunities available and common to serve the interests and benefits of the two friendly countries.
He praised the initiatives and events organized by the Abu Dhabi Chamber to serve the business community and support the private sector, especially the initiative to organize the Future Pioneers Award, which is considered a unique initiative in the world where it educates the emerging business and prepare them to serve the national economy in the future.
He stressed that the Government of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina will work hard to identify the investment opportunities available in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the most important systems, legislation and facilities available to attract Emirati investors and the business community in Abu Dhabi.
On the other hand, HE Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, received at the Chamber’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, HE Chingiz Ishimbekov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic and his accompanying delegation to discuss enhancing economic relations and developing joint trade cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
Al Muhairi affirmed that Abu Dhabi Chamber is keen to achieve fruitful cooperation with the diplomatic missions and commercial attachés accredited by the State to develop joint work plans to redouble the efforts exerted in developing and strengthening the fields of economic and investment cooperation between the business communities and the private sector.
He expressed his pleasure to visit the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic for the first time to the Abu Dhabi Chamber in order to consolidate the relations of economic and trade cooperation and to identify the investment opportunities enjoyed by both sides.
Al Muhairi explained the various services provided by Abu Dhabi Chamber for the support of the private sector as its first representative in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, adding that the Chamber welcomes the establishment of investment projects between institutions, companies and businessmen, benefiting from facilities and establishing commercial and industrial projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Companies and institutions in the country with the investment opportunities available and the incentives provided by the concerned authorities in Kyrgyzstan to UAE investors.
