The UAE-UAE Banking Forum focused on the future of Islamic finance in the UAE and China

The Third UAE-UAE Forum on Islamic Banking and Finance discussed the importance of joint efforts between the UAE and China to meet the emerging challenges and employ the prospects for enhancing the role of Islamic finance as a key pillar. To translate the objectives of the “One Belt … One Way” initiative.
The event attracted considerable attention as a result of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai Islamic Banking and Finance Center of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al-Smart University, the Dubai Islamic Economic Development Center and the Finance Club Islamic Foundation of China and Zichang Interchange Communications, with the participation of Thomson Reuters as a knowledge partner.
The two-day forum focused on the status and future of Islamic finance in the UAE and China, focusing on China’s growing economic impact in the Middle East.
