US $ 83.1 billion in foreign trade in Jafza in 2017

Dubai-based Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) has grown its foreign trade to reach $ 83.1 billion, or 29.4 million metric tons, the highest since 2013, at 19.5 million tons, an increase of 9.9 million metric tons.
In terms of volume, the growth rate reached 6% on an annualized basis and by 4% in value. Exports and re-exports grew by 5%. The figures show that Jafza’s contribution to Dubai’s total trade rose to 23%, representing 70% % Of the volume of free trade in Dubai.
