“Vintek High” program begins accepting applications for third session 2019

Fintech Hayef at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) – the first and largest financial technology accelerator in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia – has accepted applications for the third cycle of its 2019 program to continue its impressive success.
The third edition of the Vintec Hive program at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), due to kick off in September, will include innovative startups from the financial technology sector to participate in an intensive three-month program and take advantage of the guidance provided by 21 partners from financial institutions, Strategists.
The program will provide emerging companies with an opportunity to meet executives from relevant sectors as they develop their first-class concepts and will have the opportunity to test their innovative solutions that address the current challenges in the industry.
The Fintech Hayef program at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) organized a forum for partners that highlighted the major challenges facing the financial services sector in the region to shape the conceptual framework that will be addressed by finalists during the current session.
The partners have been very interested in a range of topics including financial technology solutions that address the challenges of creditworthiness, customer attractiveness and customer satisfaction, as well as e-security and data analytics.
The finalists from the insurance technology sector will offer innovative solutions that focus on data collection, enhanced communication and enhanced customer experience.
This year’s startups will receive guidance from partner financial institutions including Finnbar, Standard Chartered, Visa, National Bank of Fujairah, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, Noor Bank, HSBC, Riyad Bank, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank and other relevant financial institutions such as Arab Bank and Abu Dhabi First Bank.
Emerging companies in the insurance technology sector will work closely with FITC’s HIFC insurance partners, including AXA Gulf, Noor Takaful, Moral Insurance, Zurich Insurance and AIG, Insurance House, SIGNA Middle East and MetLife to support the development of innovative solutions capable of meeting the growing demands in the sector. In addition, the finalists from the financial technology and insurance technology sector will be supported by the strategic partner, Dubai Islamic Economic Development Center and the digital transformation partner Etisalat.
