Bolivian president praises UAE ties with his country

President of the Republic of Bolivia, Evo Morales, praised the UAE-Bolivian relations and stressed that they have many potentials for growth, especially in light of the potential of the two sides of the potential and potential economic, trade and investment.
This came during a meeting with Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Balheif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development on the sidelines of the ninth session of the 2019 Annual Investment Forum, which opened yesterday and ends tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Center in the presence of HE Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade Affairs, With the Government of Bolivia, members of the delegation accompanying the Bolivian President.
The President of Bolivia explained that his country is the highest growth in the South American countries and that the past years have witnessed the completion of many development projects in terms of infrastructure, especially with regard to the development of airports and the development of roads and rail system in a way that serves the foreign trade movement of the State and links with international markets.
He pointed out that there is an ambitious plan to diversify the economic base of his country through the development of petrochemical industries and manufacturing industries, benefiting from the availability of raw materials, whether natural gas or a number of raw materials and promising materials, notably lithium, which is a key component of batteries and power devices.
The Bolivian President affirmed the presence of a large area to promote and diversify the base of economic and trade cooperation with the UAE in these areas during the coming period.
For his part, HE Belheif Al Nuaimi stressed the keenness of the UAE to deepen bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Bolivia in all areas of development, especially economic and trade.
His Excellency reviewed the distinguished efforts of the UAE in the development of advanced infrastructure to keep abreast of the best international practices at the level of roads, airports or ports, which contributed to strengthening its position as a distinct destination for investment and trade.
He stressed the interest of the State in exploring opportunities for economic and trade cooperation with Bolivia and exchanging experiences and experiences in various sectors of common interest to serve the interests of the two sides and achieve mutual benefit. He pointed to the importance of working to bring business communities closer and keep them informed of opportunities for cooperation. The private sector is a key player in advancing joint cooperation efforts and developing investment and development partnerships in both countries’ markets.
