10.8 million checks amounted to 613 billion dirhams during the first half

Statistics of the UAE Central Bank showed that the value of clearing checks circulated using their copies amounted to more than 613.3 billion dirhams during the first half of this year, a growth of 1%, compared to 607 billion dirhams in the same period of 2022.

And the statistics of banking operations issued by the Central Bank, on Tuesday, indicated that the number of checks that were settled through the check clearing system during the first six months of this year settled at 10.8 million checks, compared to about 10.88 million checks in the same period of 2022.
