“Etihad” increases freight capacity in the winter season with new routes

Etihad Cargo announced that it will provide additional shipping capacity to customers and partners within its global network of destinations by offering a group of new routes and increasing the frequency of its flights, starting in September 2023.
The winter flight schedule launches 29 weekly passenger flights to new destinations, and the number of flights on current routes increases by 90 passenger flights per week, bringing the total number of flights during the week to 119 flights. Etihad Cargo customers and partners also benefit from additional cargo capacity in the baggage compartments of passenger aircraft in addition to scheduled cargo flights.

The carrier provides additional cargo capacity by operating new flights to Dusseldorf in Germany and Copenhagen in Denmark, to which it also operates four passenger flights weekly. The company is launching three additional passenger flights to Dusseldorf and Munich, bringing the total number of flights to Germany to 28 weekly flights, including four cargo flights to Frankfurt.
In response to the increasing demand, the company intends to continue operating three weekly passenger flights to Lisbon within the framework of the winter flight schedule after launching it to keep pace with the high demand in the summer season. Additional cargo capacity is also available on the main routes by increasing the number of passenger flights, including operating four additional flights to Rome, bringing the total number to 11 flights per week, and three additional flights to Madrid and Milan, bringing the total weekly flights to 10 for each destination.
Asian destinations
Etihad Cargo is strengthening its commitment to the Asian market by providing additional cargo capacity, by operating flights to new destinations and increasing the number of flights to current destinations, as the company begins operating five passenger flights weekly to Osaka, becoming the second destination in the company’s flights to Japan.
The company is launching three additional flights to Beijing, in addition to four additional weekly flights to Shanghai, providing additional cargo capacity while strengthening the brand’s network in China. Etihad Cargo also provides additional cargo capacity to meet the high levels of demand in the Indian market, as it operates new passenger flights to Calicut and Thiruvananthapuram, bringing the total weekly flights to seven flights to each destination.
The number of weekly flights to Chennai increased to 21, with seven new passenger flights in addition to two weekly cargo flights. The company operates a group of additional weekly flights, including eight flights to Kochi, two flights to Islamabad, seven flights to the Maldives, in addition to five flights to Cairo and seven to Phuket, providing customers and partners with additional cargo capacity and a variety of options when shipping goods to… These are major Asian destinations. The company is also preparing to launch seven direct flights to Colombo weekly.
