The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City, through the City Municipality Center and the Shahama Municipality Center, implemented an initiative to support workers in a number of areas located within the geographical scope of the two centers, with the aim of relieving them from the heat in the summer, and in appreciation of their efforts and consolidating the meanings of mercy and humanity that reflect the values of the UAE.

The City Municipality Center implemented an initiative coinciding with the World Humanitarian Day, which was to accompany 32 workers on a cultural entertainment trip to the Louvre Museum in Abu Dhabi, as an expression of great appreciation for the class of workers, and its keenness to make them happy. The municipality expressed its sincere appreciation and thanks to the Louvre Museum for its cooperation and response to support this initiative. community and humanity.

The Shahama Municipality Center, in cooperation with the Nashash Pure Water Factory, also implemented an initiative entitled “We cool them down”, targeting the group working in the maintenance of public and municipal facilities, to draw a smile on their faces and reduce the summer heat for them. During the initiative, hats and cold water were distributed to hundreds of workers.

Abu Dhabi Municipality affirms its keenness on the health and safety of workers on construction sites from all risks, as it carries out continuous campaigns on construction, construction and demolition sites throughout the year, to monitor and monitor the extent to which construction and construction companies adhere to the safety standards that must be met, and also carries out field campaigns to educate and urge construction, construction and demolition companies. The need to provide all means of prevention and first aid in the sites, in addition to monitoring the extent of adherence to the working hours specified by the concerned authorities at noon during the summer period, in order to preserve the safety of all workers in these sites.
