Dubai Municipality conducted more than 60 immediate interviews for applicants to its “Future Talents” scholarship program and the “Ruwad” initiative to qualify recent graduates during the “UAE Vision 2023 Careers Exhibition,” which was held at the Dubai World Trade Center during the period from September 19 to 21.

 

 

 

 

Aisha Al Hammadi, Director of the Human Resources Department at Dubai Municipality, said: “Through our participation in the UAE Vision 2023 Careers Exhibition, we were keen to review the career opportunities available within the areas of work of Dubai Municipality, attract the best Emirati human competencies and talents, and encourage Emirati youth to start their professional careers and support them with It enhances the objectives of the Emiratisation plan and policy file in the Emirate of Dubai. We conducted more than 60 immediate interviews with applicants for the “Future Talents” program and the “Ruwad” initiative, which were launched by Dubai Municipality as part of its efforts to provide opportunities for university graduates and raise their capabilities and skills by adopting them, training them, and developing their practical expertise in supportive technical and professional fields. For the municipality.

 

The “Future Talents” scholarship program is one of the pioneering programs launched by Dubai Municipality this year, and it aims to attract and attract university students from UAE nationals in a number of scientific specializations required in the labor market that support the municipality’s fields of work.

 

The scholarship within the program includes future specializations related to the fields of building regulation and licensing, environment, health and safety, public facilities, waste and sanitation, institutional risks, and asset management.

 

The “Ruwad” initiative to qualify recent graduates, which was launched by the municipality to adopt students recently graduated from accredited educational institutions, aims to train and qualify students and provide them with skills, capabilities and knowledge within the technical and professional fields in the municipality and provide them with the opportunity to experience field work and direct contact with work sites and their surroundings and develop skills. Dealing with a team spirit and promoting basic institutional values such as competitiveness, proactiveness, positivity and participation.

 

“Ruwad” provides a number of fields for university graduates, including: Engineering in the specializations of civil, architectural, electrical, industrial, information technology, sanitation, and environment, in addition to administrative fields that include human resources, financial management of all kinds, marketing, public relations, mass communication, media, law, quality, business administration, and administrative sciences.

 

The initiative also includes technical fields in the fields of biotechnology, chemical sciences, environmental health, marine environmental sciences, occupational health sciences, food safety and nutrition, food industries, and geodetic surveying.

 

Dubai Municipality has set a number of requirements that must be met by applicants to its programs and initiatives. The academic scholarship for those continuing their university studies requires that the student be a citizen of the UAE and a student in the second or third year of study within one of the required scientific specializations, and that his cumulative GPA must not be less than 3, and that he must not combine More than one scholarship at the same time, in addition to the necessity of completing national service for the male category for applicants to the scholarship program.

 

The “Ruwad” initiative also requires that the student be a recent graduate of higher educational institutions recognized by the official authorities in the country (a bachelor’s degree), and that the candidate must pass the personal interview or any required tests conducted by the Human Resources Department and the relevant department in which he will be qualified, and that he A recent graduate who has performed national and reserve service or must prove his exemption from performing it.
