An awareness campaign for bicycle users in Al Dhafra

The Municipal Presence Team in the Al Dhafra Region Municipality organized a campaign for bicycle users to raise awareness of the importance of adhering to security and safety requirements and instructions on signboards, and to avoid illegal behaviour, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of community members.
The campaign stems from the municipality’s keenness to raise the awareness of bicycle users about the importance of safe driving.
It also aims to educate bicycle drivers about the regulations and laws related to road safety, clarify wrong practices while bicycles are moving on the road, and urge them to ride on the lanes designated for them, to avoid any risks that may result from misuse, preserve municipal assets, and enhance the efficiency of managing assets, infrastructure, and facilities. public and maintain its effectiveness to enhance the emirate’s attractiveness, style and quality of life.

The campaign included field visits to all bicycle paths.
