“Azizi” launches its giant project worth 30 billion dirhams in Dubai South

Azizi Developments has revealed its plans to develop the Azizi Venice project, its luxury complex inspired by the Italian city of Venice on the waterfront, located entirely within a crystal lagoon in which it is possible to swim, specifically in the fast-growing Dubai South area. The major project was unveiled at a launch event at the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk, in the presence of 10,000 people.

 

Among the highlights of the project, which will provide 24 million square feet of gross floor area on a 15 million square foot plot of land, is a luxurious, temperature-controlled pedestrian boulevard and a second opera, as well as a wide range of other unique facilities that enhance the lifestyle of its residents. The world-famous multidisciplinary design firm AE7 is acting as a consultant for the project.

 

Azizi is the lead developer responsible for constructing buildings, roads and all infrastructure for the large mixed-use project costing approximately 30 billion dirhams, which will include more than 30,000 residential units distributed over nearly 100 residential complexes, in addition to more than 400 villas and luxury homes.

 

Azizi Venice is distinguished by its huge, crystal blue lagoon with many beaches surrounding all its residential buildings, villas and luxury homes, in addition to spaces designated for entertainment, retail and various commercial activities. The beaches will be surrounded by turquoise, desalinated and filtered water, in addition to an 8-kilometre cycling and running track, facilities for yoga and other sports activities, and a promenade featuring a wide range of restaurants and specialized shops.

The project’s elements are completed with the presence of dense, beautifully designed green spaces throughout. In the heart of Azizi Venice is a luxurious pedestrian boulevard, which will be open in the winter and covered with glass in the summer to ensure a temperature-controlled space for the comfort of visitors throughout the year. Three-storey buildings are located on both sides of Azizi Boulevard, the best shops, brands, nightlife and entertainment options, in addition to restaurants that include international dishes, making the Boulevard a new and unique point of interest on the map of the city’s wonderful tourist attractions.

 

Another major attraction to be developed within Azizi Venice, Azizi Opera in the heart of The Boulevard, has been built to the highest contemporary standards in design and architecture, and will become one of the most prominent venues for cultural and community events in Dubai.

 

As a major tourist attraction and upscale local attraction, Azizi Venice is expected to receive more than 30,000 visitors daily. This luxurious project will provide two five-star hotels owned and managed by Azizi at its entrances, in addition to a private hotel located on the island in the middle of the lake. A large number of underground parking lots will be provided to give tens of thousands of visitors daily easy access to Azizi Boulevard and Azizi Opera.

The project will have a strong focus on children, with a wide range of facilities designed specifically for them, and many safe areas in which they can roam and play freely. The project will be equipped with many stunning lighting features on the facades and outside of the buildings, in addition to musical and dancing water fountains that will add a festive nighttime feel to the lake, the boulevard and the opera. Azizi Boulevard and the project in general will be decorated with luxurious designs and decorations for all seasons, holidays and annual celebrations, which will increase its beauty as one of the most attractive areas to visit in the United Arab Emirates.

 

Azizi Venice, which will be part of the new golf district in Dubai South, is strategically located in areas of potential growth in the emirate, as Dubai rapidly expands towards the south. The project plot of land is located next to the Emirates Road (E611), which was built to connect the emirates of the country together, while providing convenient access points to other major highways in Dubai and other important destinations, and the plot itself is among the best connected spaces with its surroundings in the southern part of the emirate.

 

The project is located just a five-minute drive from Al Maktoum International Airport, and a few minutes from the private aviation building, but without any air traffic above it, and the land is very well located for developing a luxury complex.
