Sharjah International Airport celebrated Saudi travelers on the occasion of the 93rd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the strong fraternal relations that bind the two brotherly countries and in appreciation of the choice by a large number of Saudis of Sharjah Airport as their preferred travel hub.
The Sharjah International Airport Authority stated that the percentage of Saudi passengers reached approximately 10% of the total number of passengers traveling through Sharjah Airport until the end of August, “two million and 5 thousand” passengers, an increase of 57.3% compared to the same period last year.
These results come in line with the efforts made by the Sharjah International Airport Authority to provide pioneering services, adopt the latest technologies, and work to increase capacity.
To celebrate this occasion, the employees expressed their congratulations to the passengers and distributed gifts and Arab hospitality to them. The travelers also expressed their gratitude for this initiative, which represents the authenticity of Emirati customs, and their satisfaction with the level of pioneering services provided by the airport and the personalized travel experience that every traveler enjoys.
