46.6% 5-year acquisition of Abu Dhabi imports within 3 months

Five countries contributed 46.6% of the total imports of Abu Dhabi during the first three months of this year. Japan came first with AED 3.1 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia, USA, India and China.
The total value of the Emirate’s imports reached 26.3 billion dirhams during the first quarter of 2018, according to figures released by the Abu Dhabi Statistics Center today.
The Sultanate of Oman was the first place in the imports of the individuals sector after the value of goods received of 30.6 million dirhams, followed by Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, which accounted for 57.5% of the total sector.
On the export side, the total value reached AED 11.6 billion during the first quarter of 2018. China topped the list of total business sector exports by AED 1.8 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and India, contributing 52.9% Of the total sector.
The top five trade partners accounted for 87.4% of total retail exports in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Bangladesh topped the list with AED 57.5, followed by India, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.
The top five countries accounted for 83.3% of the total exporters. France came first in terms of contribution, with exports worth 8.8 million dirhams, followed by Germany, Italy, Djibouti and Spain.
